Make Yourself at Home
We are located on the corner of 5th and Duncan in downtown Courtenay. You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot behind our building on Duncan and 4th. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and given the admitting paperwork to complete for our staff to prepare your file. Then you’ll meet Dr. Ernie von Schilling otherwise known as Dr. Ernie.
We Explain Everything First
The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem. If you have had any xrays taken at the hospital, we are able to review the digitized version online in our office and explain them to you. We’ll likely show you a short 5-minute video to help understand how chiropractic can help you.
Following the Report of Findings, Dr. Ernie will go over any questions and you will receive your first adjustment. Dr. Ernie will discuss a schedule of visits to correct this issue, maintaining these appointments will build on each one to support your bodies healing abilities.
Patients appreciate that we explain everything and any questions from our patients, no matter how simple, are important and we will try to answer them. Your first visit will take approximately an hour.
